Socaps Jasper Canada $32–$42 an hour – Full‑time.

Role Summary

Field‑based position supporting automated industrial equipment. Handle installations, startups, troubleshooting, and on‑site support, working directly with customers on high‑value production lines.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and start up automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, automation, and mechanical issues.
• Support upgrades, retrofits, and production improvements.
• Work independently in the field and collaborate with project teams.
• Travel extensively to customer sites across North America.

Equipment & Technology

• Industrial production lines (ovens, proofers, coolers, freezers).
• PLCs: Allen‑Bradley (primary), Siemens (plus).
• Robotics: ABB.

Qualifications

• Strong electromechanical field service experience.
• Solid PLC troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical & mechanical drawings.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada.

Nice to Have

• Food or baking industry experience.
• Certifications or licenses related to industrial equipment.

Experience

• Industrial mechanical and electrical: 5 years (Required).
• Field Service Technician: 5 years (Required).
• Bakery equipment: 5 years (Required).
