Job summary

A leading heavy machinery company is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician in Thunder Bay, Ontario. This role involves servicing and repairing Earth Moving Technology equipment, requiring extensive field experience and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities include on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintaining service records while ensuring safety and precision. The position offers competitive wages, benefits, and opportunities for training and development. Regular travel throughout Northwestern Ontario is required to provide on-site support.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician, preferably in Field Service.
  • Ability to travel extensively across Northwestern Ontario, including remote locations.
  • Bilingual in English & French is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy equipment.
  • Operate independently and maintain detailed service records.
  • Provide emergency breakdown support during nights and weekends as needed.
