THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Area Foreman, the Field Operations Summer Student position requires organized, detail oriented and motivated individuals who are ready to work in a fast-paced environment and take on new challenges. The role involves working alongside team members with extensive and diverse experience within Field Operations. The successful candidates must reside in the greater Grande Prairie area and be available for the term starting in May 2026 for 4 months.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain housekeeping of operational sites and facilities, which includes cleaning and painting
• Assist in vegetation management; weed eating of sites and facilities
• Assist Field Operations as required for compliance including data capture and asset management of equipment
• Support warehouse and supply chain personnel with assigned tasks

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO ARC

• This position is ideally suited for students currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field and are returning to their studies in the following term
• Valid Class 5 license and experienced driving on rural roads
• Excellent communication and strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of team
• Motivated and enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic
• Capability to work outdoors in ranging temperatures that can sometimes exceed 30 degrees
• Must be physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks
• Possesses a strong commitment to safety
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to process changes and modifications
• Must currently reside in the greater Grande Prairie area

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• As this role is considered safety sensitive, the successful candidate will be required to successfully complete drug an alcohol testing
• Shift schedules for these roles are 4 days on and 3 days off, working 10 hours per day, Monday to Thursday
