A technology firm specializing in robotic solutions is seeking a Field Application Engineer for remote work in the Midwest or Northeast US. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and expertise in industrial automation, programming, and customer interaction. Responsibilities include supporting the deployment of robotic solutions, training customers, and managing technical inquiries. Successful candidates will have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and excellent communication skills. Willingness to travel within the US is required.

Mecademic builds compact, precise, and innovative robotic automation solutions for the electronics and life sciences industries. Our ultra-compact robotic arms are used worldwide by OEMs, system integrators, and end-users for tasks requiring precision and reliability in automation.
As we expand globally, we are looking for a Field Application Engineer in the Midwest/Northeast US to join our multidisciplinary team. This role is for someone passionate about robotics, programming, and working at the intersection of technology, engineering, and customer success.
We are seeking a technical specialist instrumental in ensuring our customers successfully deploy, integrate, and maximize the utility of our robotic solutions. You'll serve as the critical technical bridge, translating advanced expertise into proactive customer success and owning all technical aspects of the sales cycle while directly enabling the Area Sales Manager's growth targets in the assigned region.
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Mechatronics Engineering, and have proven experience (3 to 5 years) in the robotics or automation field.
Full‑time remote position to start as soon as possible. Willingness and ability to travel within the US for tradeshows and partner visits.
Compensation based on profile and experience.
Requires living in the US (Midwest or Northeast) or in Southern Ontario (Canada) and having a valid work permit to work there.
