Job Title: Farm & Construction Equipment Service Technician

Location: Lindsay, Ontario

Salary: $37.80-$40.50/hour

Job Type: Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Equipment Service Technician to join our Lindsay team. This role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing farm, construction, and heavy equipment both in-shop and on-site.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and safety checks
  • Document work orders, time, and parts used in detail
  • Conduct final inspections and recommend additional repairs
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow safety protocols
  • Communicate clearly with the Service Manager regarding progress and issues
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in heavy equipment, agriculture, or truck & coach
  • 421A, 425A, or Truck & Coach certification required (automotive may be considered)
  • Valid Ontario driver's license required
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
