A regional health provider in Williams Lake, British Columbia, is looking for a GP Anesthesia practitioner. Permanent and Locum opportunities are available in Williams Lake. In this community you can practice GP Anesthesia 1-5 days a week, with 1:4 or 1:5 nights of call/weekends depending on department size. We work in a stimulating environment to maintain our skills. We support General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dental procedures and visiting Orthopedic Surgeons, primarily focusing on knee and hip replacements. The community is currently recruiting a local Orthopedic Surgeon. Experience would be an asset but we have the capacity to mentor new graduates. The successful applicants can expect to have a highly collaborative and interactive medical setting, as well as the opportunity to educate medical students and family practice residents. There is an opportunity to have a part-time Family Practice office, an ER practice, join our local Long-Term Care Group or GP oncology group. If you have an interest in a limited scope Interventional Chronic Pain service, dependent on training, it can be accommodated. Williams Lake has all amenities, including a local college, an airport, and a variety of fitness and outdoor opportunities.
