A public health service provider in Timmins is seeking a Family Home Visitor to support families participating in the Healthy Babies Healthy Children program. The role requires a college diploma in child development, effective communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours. Bilingualism is considered an asset. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and undergo a criminal reference check.
Reporting to the program manager and working under the clinical direction and in collaboration with the Public Health Nurse, the Family Home Visitor (FHV) provides education and support to families participating in the Healthy Babies Healthy Children program in accordance with the current Healthy Babies Healthy Children Protocols and Guidance Documents as well as families participating in other programs within Healthy Families. The FHV also provides assistance with the delivery of other programs within Health Families as needed and when appropriate.
