A community-focused nonprofit organization is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician in London, Ontario. This role supports the maintenance of facilities, ensuring safety and comfort for tenants. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, managing vendors, and conducting inspections. The ideal candidate has strong leadership and youth engagement skills, is a high school graduate with two years of maintenance experience, and has strong communication abilities. A flexible schedule, including on-call duties, may be required.

Reporting to the Facilities Team Leader, the Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance of YOU service sites in a responsive and professional manner. The incumbent is tasked with general upkeep of YOU facilities including preventative and ongoing maintenance. This individual is responsible for responding to tenant inquiries/emergencies and conducting inspections to verify the safety and condition of all aspects of the interior and exterior of the buildings. The incumbent will supervise and coordinate maintenance service and repairs pertaining to YOU service sites and equipment. Other duties will be assigned as necessary.
