Job Summary:

As a member of the Plant Management Team, you will establish objectives and long-range goals, ensure departmental compliance with organizational policies, and collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals. You will lead Supervisors and team members in a flow path to safely produce quality extrusions at the lowest cost by problem-solving to eliminate waste and foster growth.

Required Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing or equivalent.
  • Extrusion experience, effective analytical, organizational, and professional skills.
  • Robust knowledge of Extrusion Press and Die Practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the performance of the Extrusion Department, including productivity, staffing, costs, scrap reduction, equipment performance, and KPI achievement.
  • Plan and schedule department personnel to meet production needs.
  • Develop and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Address sales and customer quality concerns.
  • Lead and promote a team environment.
  • Manage staffing, hiring, training, and goal setting, providing feedback as needed.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with defect-free products and timely delivery.
  • Perform quality tests to ensure product conformance and maintain a quality-focused environment.
