Monarch Dentistry is a trusted dental group with multiple locations across Ontario, dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming environment. We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Assistant to the COO to support our executive leadership team. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work both from our Burlington head office and at a London, Ontario location.
Position Overview
As the Assistant to the COO, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a growing dental organization. You will provide direct administrative and operational support to the COO, coordinate projects, prepare reports, and act as a point of contact between head office, regional managers, and individual dental clinics.
Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level administrative support to the COO, including scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation.
- Assist with the coordination and monitoring of operational initiatives across multiple dental offices.
- Prepare, analyze, and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and presentations related to clinic performance and operational goals.
- Liaise with office managers, clinical staff, and regional teams to ensure smooth communication and follow-up on directives from the COO.
- Support in the implementation and tracking of corporate policies, procedures, and projects.
- Organize and participate in meetings, record minutes, and ensure action items are followed up in a timely manner.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Provide ad-hoc project support as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Post-secondary education in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative or operational support experience, preferably in a dental or healthcare environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of dental practice management software such as Cleardent, Abeldent, and Dentrix is a strong asset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.

Pay: $24-$28 / hour, negotiable based on experience.
