Suitable applicants from this process will be placed in a pool from which temporary and / or permanent appointments may be made. The pool will operate for a period of 24 months from the date that the recruitment breach period has been finalised.

There is currently one (1) fixed term position available for immediate filling for a period of six (6) months with the possibility of extension and / or permanency.

About the Role

Working in the Office of Digital Government Corporate Support team, you will provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Chief Executive, and other senior departmental officers.

Executive and Administrative Support
  • Preparing and reviewing memos, ministerials, submissions, briefing notes, and minutes for the Chief Executive and other senior departmental officers.
  • Receives phone calls, attends to visitors and manages diary appointments for the Chief Executive and other senior departmental officers.
  • Arranges meetings and functions, including documentation, catering and travel arrangements for the Chief Executive, and other senior departmental officers.
  • Undertakes office management tasks for the Office of Digital Government, including purchasing and payment of accounts and maintaining office stationery supplies.
Recordkeeping
  • Manage corporate documents and correspondence on behalf of the Chief Executive, and ensure the efficient storage, tracking, retrieval and archiving of information and records on departmental information systems.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Liaises with internal and external staff in the public and private sectors, on behalf of the Executive Manager and other senior departmental officers.
Process Improvement
  • Assists with the implementation of new administrative systems and processes in the Office of Digital Government.
