A local government district is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to leadership. The role includes coordinating materials for meetings and conducting research in a sensitive environment. Ideal candidates will have a diploma in Business or Public Administration, along with at least three years of experience as a senior executive assistant. Strong organizational skills and discretion are necessary. The job offers a competitive salary range of $67,704 – $82,148 annually.

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the Executive Assistant provides high-level executive administrative support to the Mayor, Chief Administrative Officer, and Director of Corporate Services. This role is responsible for coordinating and preparing materials for senior leadership and Council related processes, conducting research and compiling information, and preparing/maintaining records, briefing notes, and minutes. The position operates in a complex political and administrative environment and requires a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, sound judgment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
