A municipal government is seeking an Events Coordinator - Food Services to manage, book, and coordinate food service functions and events. This role involves client interactions, event planning, and marketing initiatives to enhance customer experiences. Ideal candidates should have over five years of experience in event coordination, a post-secondary education in hospitality/event management, and certifications in Smart Serve and First Aid. A valid Class 'G' driver's license is required for travel to various event locations.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Event Bookings, the Coordinator, Events - Food Services will be responsible for booking and coordinating a variety of food service functions, conferences, and events. The Coordinator, Events - Food Services will manage, plan and communicate event details to on premises staff at multiple locations.
Acting as the main point of contact between our teams and clients, you'll lead marketing initiatives, understand client requirements, and manage aspects of event planning to surpass expectations.
