Overview

This is a position for an ethnic food cook specializing in East Indian cuisine, responsible for preparing and cooking meals, handling food allergies, inspecting kitchen, managing supplies, supervising staff, and maintaining inventory. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast‑paced and physically demanding environment, and strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations
Qualifications

Employment terms
