What You'll Do

CT Real Estate Investment Trust (CT REIT) owns, manages, and develops income producing commercial properties across Canada. CT REIT’s ESG team drives CT REIT’s developing ESG strategy and is responsible for CT REIT’s public ESG reporting. Reporting in to CT REIT’s Manager, ESG, primary accountabilities within this role will include:

  • Supporting CT REIT with annual building performance reporting to municipal and provincial regulators.
  • Working with CT REIT’s tenants, utilities, and regulators to obtain and process energy and water consumption data for CT REIT’s buildings.
  • Reviewing utility invoices for anomalies and following up with utilities as for clarification as necessary.
  • Uploading consumption data to CT REIT’s data management software and updating CT REIT’s data tracking spreadsheet.
What You Bring
  • Currently enrolled in a a post-secondary program, with a focus within engineering, environmental sciences, data science, architecture, environmental sustainability or a related discipline
  • Knowledge of sustainable building and building decarbonization strategies
  • Data management and analysis skills
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Excel
  • Self-motivated with ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, supporting exchanges with multiple stakeholders
