Job summary

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are assets.
  • Safety certifications such as CSTS, WHMIS, or Fall Protection are preferred.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and drawings to ensure all work complies with building codes and project specifications.
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials such as wood, engineered wood, or light steel framing.
  • Construct and install floors, walls, ceilings, roofs, and other structural components.
  • Load, unload, and move materials and equipment safely around the job site.
  • Set up and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, temporary supports, and barricades.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew members to complete framing and renovation tasks on time.
