Position : Custodial

Wage : $22.00

Schedule : Monday to Friday 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm

Location : St. George's School - Vancouver

We are looking for an Environmental Service Attendant 1 to join our dynamic team. This position is full-time. You will enjoy a great team environment, work/life balance, and the opportunity to ensure customer satisfaction.

As part of our housekeeping team, you will provide high-quality customer service while maintaining the premises in a clean and orderly manner, including:

• Cleaning offices, common areas, washrooms, halls, food service areas, and other spaces requiring attention
• Cleaning desks, ceilings, vents, walls, blinds, kitchenettes, microwaves, furniture, windows, floors, and carpets
• Dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, polishing floors, and replenishing supplies
• Emptying trash and garbage containers
• Handling loads up to 40 lbs
• Performing other duties as assigned
• Attention to detail

Physical Demands

• Involves body postures such as bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
• Coordination of upper limbs
• Handling loads between 10 kg and 20 kg
• Prolonged walking and standing
• Supporting event setup as needed

Qualifications

• One year of experience preferred
• Ability to use tools and equipment and perform physical tasks
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to work under supervision, follow procedures, and adhere to safety standards
• Personal and professional integrity, appearance, and demeanor
• Building Worker Certification is helpful

• Cleaning offices, patient/resident rooms, dormitories, classrooms, and other areas
• Sweeping, mopping, buffing floors, vacuuming hallways and offices
• Emptying trash, restocking supplies, changing linens
• Cleaning carpets, polishing floors, moving furniture
• Using cleaning chemicals per standards
• Driving golf carts or other vehicles
• Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs
• Reporting major repairs or equipment needs
• Taking inventory and supporting product ordering
• Supervising and training staff as needed
