THE TEAM

The mission of the Workplace Safety & Health Department is to uphold industry-leading best practices to prevent the occurrence of serious workplace injuries and illnesses.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing and our Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for the design, execution, and maintenance of industry‑leading health and safety practices to protect our people at our Food and Beverage (F&B) locations. You will play a pivotal role in demonstrating the value of WSH to the business and external stakeholders while identifying and implementing strategic improvements to WSH practices across our F&B operations. THE ROLE

As the Senior Manager/Manager, Workplace Safety & Health, Food & Beverage, you will lead the team to:

• Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day‑to‑day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.
• Establish Aritzia's approach to Workplace Safety & Health.
• Minimize the impacts associated with hazards in our spaces.
• Assess the compliance of the Workplace Safety & Health program.
• Minimize the impacts associated with emergencies in our spaces.
• Respond to incidents quickly and effectively.
• Manage, maintain, and monitor WSH risk.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Senior Manager/Manager, Workplace Safety & Health, Food & Beverage has:

• Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience in Workplace Safety & Health with a focus on Food & Beverage.
• A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles.
• The ability to collaborate fluently with cross‑functional partners.
• A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business.

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills and experience.
