The role involves:

  • Analyzing and revising Modsums from Methods and Engineering as necessary.
  • Generating, revising, and approving Modsums and Top Modsums.
  • Validating and tracking reallocation from Methods.
  • Coordinating and executing configuration freeze activities with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting aircraft configuration freeze activities.
  • Supporting configuration management activities at all production phases.
  • Assisting with aircraft certification and on-time delivery milestones per the master schedule.
  • Facilitating knowledge transfer in configuration management and documentation activities.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement activities and projects focused on tools and processes.
  • Representing the configuration management team in cross-functional meetings and working sessions.
How to thrive in this role?
  • You have at least a college diploma or military training in aircraft maintenance, methods, or another aerospace discipline.
  • You have 8+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, operations, aerospace engineering, or equivalent.
  • You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and French, oral and written.
  • You have knowledge of aircraft systems, technologies, and maintenance practices.
  • You have strong analytical skills.
  • You can read and interpret illustrated aircraft parts catalogs and engineering documents.
  • You are organized, able to plan and prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
  • You excel in tracking and responding to internal customer requests with high-quality, accurate responses.
  • You are a team player, capable of building and maintaining relationships and networks with a strong customer orientation.
  • You are open-minded, flexible, and work well under pressure and deadlines.
  • You have knowledge of MS Office and SAP systems.
