Hours: 37.5 per week

Pay Range: $59,500 – $84,000 CAD

Variable compensation is available based on business and individual performance.

Responsibilities
  • Develop components of solutions with a focus on analytics, support, testing, and proof of concepts aligned to business and technology objectives.
  • Design new solutions for engineering programs and projects, and create prototypes and proof of concepts as required.
  • Participate in conceptual and logical engineering designs to advance the assigned portfolio.
  • Analyze technical requirements to recommend pragmatic and sound engineering solutions for own area.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and internal technology partners to ensure engineering solutions meet technical direction, requirements, performance, time‑to‑market, and innovation goals.
  • Contribute to enterprise and/or line of business engineering strategies and mandates.
  • Respond to routine or standard requests from internal and/or external customers.
  • Document and verify system components, applications, infrastructure, security, integration, operability, and engineering architecture designs for a program or project.
  • Participate in quality management reviews of designs, prototypes, and other work products.
  • Lead as‑built program activities and maintain documentation using configuration management processes.
  • Support modifications to ensure accuracy of drawings and technical baseline documents.
  • Maintain knowledge of best practices and leading‑edge technologies and trends in the field.
  • Prioritize and manage own workload to deliver quality results on time.
  • Promote a work environment that supports service, quality, innovation, teamwork, and timely communication of issues.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and across business units.
  • Establish effective relationships across multiple business and technology partners, program and project managers.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity and operational efficiency for the business unit and/or team.
