What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Engage with key collaborators and align internal team members with business unit priorities throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with relevant parties to convey ongoing directions from the LP Capital Sponsor to development and implementation teams
- Assist in tracking and addressing identified problems to keep project timelines and budgets on track
- Help prioritize work and determine the relative importance of project issues at both the Project and Portfolio levels
- Use industry knowledge to engage collaborators and support competitive initiatives for fit‑for‑purpose results
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience
- Registration as an engineer‑in‑training or ability to acquire EIT designation within one year after hire in Canada
- Minimum of two years of industry‑related experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for internal and external audiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with project management in the oil and gas sector
- Knowledge of Liquids Pipeline systems and operations
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the oil and gas industry
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to travel legally within Canada and the United States
