A leading energy company is seeking an Advisor for Energy Policy and Planning to contribute to strategies and compliance obligations related to energy and climate policies. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of relevant experience and an engineering or science degree. Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years of proven directly related experience.
• Engineering or project management designations are considered an asset.
• Experience with federal Clean Fuel Regulation and Ontario Emissions Performance Standards considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support the sustainment of the Federal Carbon Pricing Program, including financial remittance.
• Interpret climate and energy policies and regulations.
• Coordinate and provide advice on climate/energy policy submissions.
• Provide technical expertise related to energy and carbon policies.
• Develop evidence for Ontario Energy Board regulatory filings.
