Responsibilities
- Manage interfaces at project-level team members & internal stakeholders/partners through several specific tasks.
- Coordinate between design needs/sourcing needs and project targets, including business case preparation and client presentations.
- Coordinate risks, from risk identification, regular risk register updates, and coordination of all mitigation actions.
- Coordinate requirements, including requirements capture, allocation, and rejected requirements management until closure at each project stage (V&V activities).
- Define Design production KPIs and other reporting KPIs, including regular updates and root cause analysis in coordination with planning, design teams, and other internal stakeholders.
- Manage modifications from identification to impact assessment and implementation across Electrification subsystems.
- Prepare and coordinate DFQ processes with internal stakeholders (design, safety, cybersecurity, subsystem).
- Propose and implement collaborative actions across Electrification teams, including new ways of working with remote teams and strengthened communication within the teams.
- Coordinate target price definition with relevant stakeholders.
The Electrification team is mainly composed of on-shore located in Toronto, Canada, and off-shore part located in Italy, Mexico and France.
Reporting
This position will report to the Electrification Project Director.
The candidate will liaise with:
- Engineering: On-shore, off-shore Engineering teams and Transverse Engineering team
- Construction: POS and OCS Construction teams
- Project: Electrification, System and other sub-systems management teams
- Customer, Consultants, External stakeholders
- Civil Works, Track works and O&M partners
- Interfacing sub-systems (Rolling Stock, Trackworks, Signalling, Civil works)
- Regional Centers and Central platforms
- Client and its consultants
- Any other 3rd parties
Performance Measurements
- Compliance to Site works Work Package: 100%
- Respect of Design For Quality (DFQ) milestones: 100% Go On Time, in accordance with the standards or rules of his Metier
- Respect of performances of the system provided: 100%
Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer designation as per Canadian regulations or in progress
- Master's Degree in Business Administration and/ or
- Master's Degree in Engineering or Project Management
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in delivery of Railway projects, Electrification type of projects is preferred
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Railway Design and Built projects, but also Operations and Maintenance aspects
- Good knowledge of OCS design and delivery
- First knowledge of Power Supply environment and interfaces with Catenary System
- Good knowledge of Canada standards and common practices is a plus
- Autonomy, Result and Solution oriented, motivated and interested in innovative construction methodology topics
- Fluent in English, second language appreciated
