Description

Position Summary: The EHS Specialist supports the implementation and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety programs and systems. This role helps ensure regulatory compliance, fosters a culture of safety, and assists in driving continuous improvement in EHS performance. The EHS Specialist conducts inspections, facilitates training, supports investigations, and maintains documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Support site compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations through inspections, audits, and follow-ups.
  • Assist with risk assessments and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Maintain and organize training records, such as PIT and other compliance requirements.
  • Perform regular site inspections to identify unsafe conditions, equipment issues, etc.
  • Assist with data collection, verification and reporting.
  • Deliver and continuously improve EHS training sessions for new hires and recurring programs, with a strong focus on identifying and implementing opportunities for ongoing enhancement.
  • Participate in incident investigations, support reporting process and collaborate with operations/engineering in closing out root cause and corrective actions.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and employee engagement, such as recycling and energy conservation, and assist with data collection, verification and reporting.
  • Collaborate with facility, distribution, and operations teams to identify and mitigate EHS risks.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and support initiating innovative solutions and close findings.
  • Actively contribute to achieving EHS KPIs and ensure accurate and timely reflection of data across various EHS dashboards.
  • Promote employee engagement in safety programs and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with EHS managers to implement and integrate EHS initiatives, while promoting best practice sharing across the campus and within the global EHS program.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
  • 2–4 years in an EHS-related role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • OSHA 30-hour, First Aid/CPR, or similar (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, familiarity with EHS software/tools, and ability to work independently.
Pay Range

Anticipated Base Salary Range $78,000.00 to $78,000.00 (Depending on qualifications, skills, experience and/or budget), based on a 40 hour work week (range to be scaled accordingly). In addition, the Company maintains highly competitive incentive compensation programs (role eligibility may vary based on terms of the respective plan(s)).
