As part of the ONxpress consortium, Alstom is proudly working to transform the collective mobility of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas (GTHA) through the On-Corridor Works project, and we are hiring for hundreds of roles. Our scope: new electric locomotives, train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications and digital systems, and much more.
This position is mainly on construction site (60%-80%) with an administrative portion (40%-20%).
You will ensure compliance with EHS rules on the site for both Alstom employees and Alstom contractors for testing & commissioning phases on equipment and trains. You will work closely with the permit offices, the supervisors assigned to the contractors / employees, employees/contractors and the prime contractor.
