Overview

THE EEG TECHNICIAN performs all EEG testing by measuring electrical activity of brain waves, using EEG instrument and conducts evoked potential response tests for use in diagnosis of brain and nervous system disorders. the EEG Tech assists with the development of the EEG lab. Assists with outpatient Holter Monitors and EKGs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• LPN or healthcare experience preferred
• Medical Terminology Course required within 1 year of hire
• Healthcare Provider CPR Certification required within 6 months of hire
• Healthcare experience preferred
• EEG or Neurological Services Experience preferred, on the job training will be provided
