This opportunity is planning, organizing, and facilitating a wide variety of recreational and social activities designed for children ages 1 month to 5 years.

Type of Position: Regular, Full time

Classification: Level Three – ECE

Rate of Pay: $ per hour; BC wage enhancement

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday, varied hours between 7:45 am – 5:15 pm

Location: First Steps or JTC

Main Areas of Responsibility
  • Primary contribution will be the planning, organizing and delivery of activities for children aged 1 month to 5 years.
  • Encourages, engages and facilitates the participation of individuals in the program by creating a safe space.
Qualifications
  • Early Childhood Educator Certificate
  • Experience program planning and facilitating developmentally appropriate activities for children aged 1 month to 5 years.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current Food Safe Certificate
Condition of Employment
