Driver – Materials Delivery

Lynk is looking for a Driver based in our Sydney, Nova Scotia office. At Lynk, a member of The Cahill Group of companies, our experienced, local team efficiently manages commercial, municipal, industrial, and renewable energy projects in and around Cape Breton.

What will you do as the Driver?
  • Deliver materials, tools, equipment, and miscellaneous items to job sites, warehouses, the main office/shop, and customer locations while adhering to company quality, health, and safety standards.
  • Pick up materials from suppliers, ensure items match purchase orders, and sign off on pickup documentation prior to delivery.
  • Ensure all pickup, delivery, and related documentation is accurately completed and submitted daily.
  • Perform waste management duties, including collection of waste from job sites, trailers, containers, warehouses, and office, and dispose of waste at designated locations in compliance with CBRM Bylaws and Lynk’s policies and procedures.
  • Assist warehouse personnel, as required, with general support tasks such as property maintenance, yard work, housekeeping, and snow removal.
  • Maintain company delivery vehicles in a clean, neat, and professional condition at all times.
  • Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or service requirements.
  • Operate company vehicles in compliance with all applicable legislation and company policies.
  • Attend and participate in weekly Health & Safety meetings.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Other duties as assigned.
