We are currently seeking an experienced Draftsperson to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for creating detailed technical drawings and contributing to the safe and efficient progress of construction or engineering projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate architectural and structural drawings for commercial and residential projects
• Convert design sketches and concepts into technical drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Revise and update drawings to reflect field changes, markups, or client feedback
• Collaborate with design professionals to ensure coordination across disciplines
• Ensure drawings comply with building codes, zoning bylaws, and company drafting standards
• Assist with the preparation of permit submission sets and construction documents
• Maintain and organize digital drawing files and document control systems

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Draftsperson in residential and/or commercial construction
• Proven experience using AutoCAD and proficiency in Revit is required
• Familiarity with construction detailing and industry-standard drawing practices
• Experience producing complete drawing sets for permitting and construction
• Training in building code compliance or MEP coordination is considered an asset
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD
• Ability to manage multiple drawing packages and meet project deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
• Self-motivated and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment
