Role

Joining our Lifestyles (home care support) team you will provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in their own homes with travel between clients and working short split shifts required.

To provide best support you will have experience in providing high intensity daily personal activities (including complex bowel care) and manual handling (including hoist transfers).

To be considered for a role you must have availability for early morning shifts and be willing to commit to a variety of individual client sessions which may be as short as 30 minutes. Note shifts will be paid at a minimum of 2 hours and you will be reimbursed 0.99 cents per kilometre travelled between client sessions.

Shifts are available across various suburbs in the Hawkesbury area including Richmond Wilberforce Windsor Downs Bligh Park and surrounds.

  • Documenting and progress note keeping
Skills & Experience
  • Experience providing High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (HIDPA)
  • Previous experience support people with disability in a home care setting
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Confidence and experience in manual handling and providing personal care
  • Australian Drivers Licence and reliable insured vehicle
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Willing to complete basic household chores
  • Passionate about delivering Person-Centred care

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain an NDIS Clearance.
