A leading IoT company in Metro Vancouver is seeking a Director of RF-HW Engineering to lead a team focused on innovative solutions in wireless technologies. This hybrid position involves collaboration with Product Line Management to understand customer needs and drive architectural requirements. The role also includes mentoring engineers and overseeing project budgets.

The Director, RF-HW Engineering on the Module Architecture & Innovation team leads a team of 4-6 Cellular RF and Hardware engineers within our IoT Module Architecture and Innovation organization, chartered with partnering with our Product Line Management (PLM) team to engage our customers to understand the challenges and problems they face within their products. Being customer-focused enables this team to drive solutions and innovation into our Products through the architectural requirements and definition phases of the product life cycle. The Module architecture team provides definition and oversight to the implementation engineering teams to balance cost, performance, and market requirements while driving architectural decisions and innovation initiatives that differentiate our product portfolio in wireless WAN technologies.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $180,000 - $210,000. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
