Overview

Are you passionate about aviation, quality, and leading teams to deliver excellence? As our Director of Quality Assurance, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to keep helicopters safe, reliable, and ready for flight. You’ll lead daily Quality operations, manage our Quality Management System (QMS), and make sure we’re always ahead of the game when it comes to regulatory compliance (EASA POA, TCCA CAR 561/571/573, FAA Part 145). From supply chain to final inspections, you’ll oversee it all—while building a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Business Quality Management: Own and optimize our QMS, budgets, training programs, and documentation.
  • Quality Strategy & Culture: Bring Quality strategy into the business planning cycle and champion a “First Time Right” culture.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key metrics (nonconformities, CNQ, OTQ, OTD) and use them to drive performance.
  • Compliance & Audit Readiness: Keep us audit-ready and fully compliant with TCCA/FAA/EASA/AS9100.
  • Supplier & Global Collaboration: Partner with suppliers and global Airbus teams to align Quality standards.
  • Design & New Product Introductions: Support design, certification, and new product introductions with world-class inspection criteria.
Leadership & People Development
  • Inspire and grow a high-performing team through coaching, mentoring, and clear KPIs.
  • Build short- and long-term roadmaps that align with business priorities.
  • Lead with integrity, teamwork, and customer focus—setting the tone for a positive, accountable culture.
  • Drive continuous improvement, collaboration, and change management.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and ensure your team has what they need to thrive.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Aviation, Engineering, or related field (or 15 years equivalent QA experience).
  • Master’s degree, AME license, or ASQ certifications are a plus.
  • 10+ years in aerospace/aviation, military, or quality; 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Solid knowledge of aircraft design, maintenance, manufacturing, and regulatory frameworks (TCCA, FAA, EASA, AS9100).
