BanyanCommunity Services is expanding, and we’re pleased to introduce a new position:Director of People and Culture. Reporting directly to the CEO and a key memberof the Senior Management Team, this role will oversee our human resources andorganizational development functions.

As anexperienced HR leader, you have a proven ability to build strong,high-performing teams and develop meaningful partnerships within theorganization and the wider community. You are confident in yourdecision-making, dedicated to empowering others, and excel in a collaborative,team-oriented environment.

Withtwo direct reports, you will play a central role in shaping a dynamic Peopleand Culture function that reflects and reinforces Banyan’s core values ofintegrity and inclusion and service.

Working Conditions

This position is basedat Banyan’s head office, with travel required to various project sites. Whilethe role primarily operates during standard business hours, flexibility isessential, as evening or weekend meetings may occasionally be necessary. The workenvironment is fast-paced and high-pressure, often involving tight deadlinesand competing priorities that require strong organizational and time managementskills.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’sdegree or equivalent in Human Resources, Organizational Development, BusinessAdministration, Social Services, or a related field.
  • CHRP with aminimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in HR.
  • Provenexperience in labour relations and collective bargaining.
  • Experience ina non ‐ profit environment is a definite asset.
  • Governmentsector experience will be an added advantage.
  • Valid driver'slicense and access to transportation.
