Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and drive the financial strategy of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background and understanding of the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry and financial reporting, with proven leadership skills to manage a dynamic finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health of the organization through effective budgeting, risk management, and cost control.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of financial management including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, and accounting functions.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives and promote growth.
  • Lead the budgeting process, ensuring accurate forecasting and resource allocation.
  • Conduct risk analysis and manage risks associated with investments and financial operations.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards while maintaining robust internal controls.
  • Manage account reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy in daily, monthly and annual financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to support business development initiatives through sound financial planning.
  • Provide leadership in best practices, adoption of technology and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Experience
  • Proven experience in the hotel industry & corporate finance, accounting, or related fields with a strong understanding of financial services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, cost management, risk analysis, and risk management practices.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams effectively.
  • Familiarity with investment strategies and their implications on overall business performance is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail in all aspects of financial reporting and decision-making processes.   • Oversees internal, external and regulatory audit processes.
  • Provides excellent leadership by assigning team members and other departments managers' clear accountability backed by appropriate authority.
  • Conducts annual performance appraisals with direct reports according to Standard Operating Procedures

Pay: $120,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
