Overview
Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Toronto, Nuvollo Corp has established itself as a leader in delivering secure, high-performance cloud and IT infrastructure solutions to businesses across North America. A fast-growing cloud company focused on managing and operating business critical systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) requiring high availability, secure and predictable environments. Nuvollo's commitment to reliability, compliance, and customer-centric service has allowed it to build long-standing relationships with clients in highly regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, and professional services.
As the company continues its strong growth trajectory, Nuvollo is focused on strengthening its leadership team and building the internal capabilities needed to scale. A key priority is enhancing its financial management and strategic planning functions to support continued expansion and investor reporting.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Partner and COO, working closely with the private equity CFO, and managing a team of three (3) strong direct reports, the Director of Finance serves as the company\'s financial quarterback and is a key member of the leadership team, participating in strategic discussions and supporting all areas of the business.
The ideal candidate will not only build and implement accurate and timely financial reports, tailored KPIs, and actionable insights to drive the business forward, but will also develop best-in-class budgeting and forecasting tools, and lead US and Canadian currencies and consolidation, an exciting opportunity to shape the company\'s financial reporting capabilities.
Given the recent private equity investment in the company, this role will operate at a slightly faster pace than traditional director of finance positions, providing direct exposure to the private equity CFO and deal team, and offering genuine participation in strategic decision-making.
Who You Are
The successful candidate is a hands-on accounting and finance leader with extensive experience in cross-border financial consolidation and foreign currency translation, Canadian and US GAAP, Canadian and US tax compliance, financial modelling, month end and year end close processes, SaaS revenue recognition standards, usage-based pricing models and a strong track record of building scalable financial processes. You know that financial management starts with getting the basics right – timely, accurate reporting and robust controls – but you also understand that true financial leadership extends to driving strategy, supporting growth, and navigating complex international operations. You are energized by change, resilient in the face of challenges, and skilled at identifying which initiatives will deliver lasting impact.
You will dive into Nuvollo\'s financial results, lead reporting and work closely with the team to develop KPIs, reporting frameworks, and best-in-class budgeting and forecasting tools. Your experience supporting acquisitions, integration initiatives, pricing and profitability analysis will allow you to contribute meaningfully to strategic growth opportunities as Nuvollo continues to scale.
You believe progress comes from thinking big and executing with discipline – this mindset has driven your success in prior roles. You show up as your authentic self, approaching new challenges with purpose, energy, and enthusiasm, and are motivated by the opportunity to shape Nuvollo\'s financial future in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
