What We Are Hiring For

We are currently hiring a Part‑time Direct Support Professional for one of our individualized support programs in the Port Franks/Forest area.

Direct Support Professionals make a difference in people’s lives by providing support to people with developmental disabilities in all activities of daily living in their homes and the community and by fostering independence and personal growth. In conjunction with the person, their team and family/friends, Direct Support Professionals are responsible for planning and overseeing provision of support, along with creating skill development opportunities for people supported in aspiration to reach their life goals.

What You Will Need

• Valid "G" or "G2" class license and reliable vehicle
• Be willing to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Current certification in First Aid/CPR required
• Current certification in NVCPI or willingness to obtain
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is an asset
• Be comfortable with providing personal care and attending to medical needs of individuals

Compensation And Scheduling

• $23.33 - 24.02 per hour based on experience
• Part‑time: less than 31 hours per week including days, afternoons, weekends or nights
