Digital Project Manager at Lush plays a crucial role in driving the success of our digital projects. Acting as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Delivery Lead, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, critically analyze business requirements, and ensure efficient and effective solution delivery.
You will investigate project needs, gather requirements, and analyze data to inform decision‑making. You will collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to execute seamless project delivery and foster continuous improvement within the business.
The successful candidate will excel at managing multiple projects simultaneously, developing strategies to address challenges, and ensuring deliverables are met within agreed timelines. Strong problem‑solving skills, adaptability, and a focus on delivering value to internal teams and end‑users are essential.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the project lead, handling end‑to‑end delivery of digital projects for web and mobile platforms.
- Investigate and analyze project requirements, gathering insights to align business objectives with development needs.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, stakeholders, and other departments to translate business goals into actionable project plans.
- Manage the Agile development process, ensuring scheduling, workflow, and communication are efficient and aligned with project goals.
- Analyze and address potential risks, technical complexities, and challenges, proposing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Proactively track, manage, and resolve bugs, issues, and other project impediments, ensuring quality and timely delivery of each project phase.
- Regularly update and maintain project documentation, including Basecamp, Gantt charts, specifications, status reports, and change requests.
- Ensure that external resources and deliverables are provided to the development team according to agreed schedules, liaising with creative and technical departments.
- Manage third‑party relationships and contractors when required, ensuring external resources complement internal capabilities.
- Act as a Business Analyst, researching and presenting opportunities for business growth, optimizing workflows, and improving project outcomes.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to keep everyone aligned and informed.
- Support digital strategy development and ensure alignment with broader business goals.
Qualifications
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring all deadlines and quality benchmarks are met.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt to fast‑paced environments and changing priorities.
- Experience with Agile development processes and project management tools (e.g., Basecamp, Jira, Gantt charts).
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to gather, interpret, and apply data to inform business decisions.
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to work with various departments and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage technical complexities and risks, ensuring clear pathways to project delivery.
- Experience working with designers, developers, marketers, and other cross‑functional teams.
- A passion for continuous improvement, contributing to the growth and development of team members and processes.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience in e‑commerce, digital IT tech or similar, including business analyst experience.
- Minimum 2 years project management experience with an emphasis on web/app projects.
- Proven experience working with Agile Development Teams.
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands‑on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Self‑motivated and proactive.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
Preferred
- Strong understanding of Lush, e‑commerce and retail environment in general.

Job Type: Full‑time contract role - 18 months.
Work Type: Hybrid role. Must be able to go into the office 1‑2 days/week.
Location: Successful candidate must be located in or around Toronto, Ontario area.
Travel Requirement: Potential travel to the UK, 1‑2 times annually.
Base Salary Range: $86,000 - $93,000 CAD.
