A remote operations company is seeking a Diesel Mechanic for monitoring and maintaining serviceability of systems at radar sites across Canada. POSITION TYPE: Permanent, 6x6 Rotation (6 weeks on, followed by 6 weeks off for rest and travel)
REPORTS TO: Site Supervisor

Scope:
The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting the serviceability of the sites, the power generation and electrical distribution systems, along with their related equipment at the Long Range Radar (LRR) sites and the Short Range Radar (SRR) sites.
ROTATION & OVERTIME:6 weeks in/6 weeksout rotation (48‑hour workweeks) with overtime at 1.5x your base rate. Paid travel days (up to 2 days) with all travel costs covered.
LIVING ARRANGEMENTS: Private accommodation with meals, Wi‑Fi, TV, laundry and recreation facilities.

NORTHERN LIVING ALLOWANCE: Additional allowance for employees residing in designated northern communities: Inuvik, Cambridge Bay, Sanirajak, and Iqaluit.
