• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job description

Role Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer specializing in Snowflake and Databricks, you will be responsible for the continuous administration, improvement, and optimization of Intact’s cloud data platforms. Your mission is to enhance performance, scalability, and user experience through effective automation, infrastructure efficiency, and cost management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Operations & Optimization

• Administer and optimize Snowflake and Databricks environments to improve scalability, performance, and cost efficiency

• Implement automation for operations and deployment to streamline workflows

Software Development & Debugging

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex platform issues

• Conduct root cause analysis and define both short-term and long-term corrective actions

• Develop and deploy technical enhancements and fixes

Architecture & Requirements

• Lead the definition of platform requirements and ensure alignment with solution architecture

• Design and execute proof-of-concepts for medium to large initiatives

Monitoring & Support

• Independently manage escalations requiring senior technical expertise

• Improve monitoring, observability, and alerting capabilities

Deployment & CI/CD

• Propose and implement solutions to enhance deployment automation and DevOps best practices across the ecosystem

Required Qualifications
