Job Overview

A multidisciplinary project at the interface of engineering, pharmacology, chemistry, and biochemistry. Working with Professors Philippe Dauphin Ducharme and Philippe Sarret to develop and validate implantable electrochemical biosensors for real‑time detection of pharmacological targets in the body.

Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize miniaturized electrochemical biosensors for in vivo measurements.
  • Integrate the sensors into a biological environment in collaboration with experts in pharmacology, analytical chemistry, and bioengineering.
  • Conduct preclinical studies in rats to validate sensor performance (sensitivity, selectivity, stability).
  • Apply the biosensors for real‑time pharmacological monitoring to better understand the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of various molecules.
Qualifications
  • Background in pharmacology, biochemistry, chemistry, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with or interest in working with animal models (training in animal experimentation is an asset).
  • Strong interest in learning about electrochemistry, microfabrication, or analytical chemistry is a plus.
