Title: Designer - OpenRoads

Ready to shape the future of WA's transport network?

Join KBR as a Roads Designer and bring your expertise in OpenRoads Design to life on some of Western Australia's most significant road and highway projects. You'll be at the forefront of innovative design, working with a passionate team to deliver solutions that meet Main Roads WA (MRWA) and Austroads standards-and set new benchmarks for quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create detailed road and highway designs using OpenRoads.
  • Produce high-quality design documentation, drawings, and BIM deliverables for transport projects.
  • Apply MRWA and Austroads standards to ensure technical excellence and compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions.
  • Participate in design reviews, quality checks, and stakeholder coordination to keep projects on track.
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 7+ years industry experience in civil design for roads/highways.
  • Proficiency in OpenRoads and AutoCAD (12D experience is a bonus).
  • Strong understanding of MRWA standards and Austroads guidelines.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines with confidence.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative environment.
