Hours
  • Alternate Saturdays (7:30 AM – 2:30 PM)
Compensation
  • $TBD depending on experience and performance

Job Overview
  • Assist dentist during dental procedures, handing instruments and other materials
  • Assist dentist with crowns, bridges, porcelain veneers, fillings, extractions, teeth whitening, and mouthguards
  • Placement and removal of rubber dams
  • Take x-rays of patients’ teeth and expose dental diagnostic x-rays
  • Use suction and swabs to keep patients’ mouths clear and dry during procedures
  • Take preliminary impressions of teeth for study models
  • Apply pit and fissure sealants and topical anesthetics
  • Question patients about their medical history and record information for dentist’s reference
  • Advise patients on dental care, oral hygiene and plaque control programs
  • Make patients of all ages feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
