Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Delivery Manager to champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.
Typical Day in Role
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of the data-driven decision program, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Facilitate coordination between Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Office, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data platforms, governance, and analytical tools, enabling the delivery of impactful data-driven solutions
- Ensure timely delivery of data-driven solutions by resolving data-related impediments, enabling the implementation of analytics use cases that drive business outcomes
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations. Track progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Apply Agile methodologies to manage iterative development cycles, facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. Champion Agile best practices across teams.
- Drive team effectiveness by identifying and removing impediments, supporting the team, and encouraging practices in accordance with agile principles
- Demonstrates ability to develop and maintain high functioning project teams
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and ensuring business needs are met.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, privacy, and security standards in collaboration with the Data Office and IT.
- Support adoption of new data tools and processes through effective communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
- Define and monitor KPIs to measure program success and continuously improve delivery outcomes.
- Creative and flexible in working with our Analytics, Data/Analytics Engineering, Data Office teams and our business partners to oversee their design of data-driven-decision making solutions
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with bank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
Must-Have Skills
- Proven experience (10+ years) in project management, ideally within data, analytics, or IT environments.
- 5-8 years of experience with data platforms, analytics tools, and data governance frameworks.
- 8-10 years of experience managing cross-functional teams and complex programs.
- Hands-on experience with Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
Nice-To-Have Skills
- PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification is a plus
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar

- Clear, concise, and tailored communication for technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster trust and teamwork across departments
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments with shifting priorities

- Understand and balance stakeholder needs while driving program goals
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
