Job description

Our client, a reputable logistics and delivery company, is seeking a Courier to join their team. As a Courier, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting Logistics and Delivery Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills, excellent time management, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Utility Courier
Location: Summerside, PEI
Shift: 30 hours/week - Flexibility required
Pay Rate: $21.20/hour
Contract: Temporary until December, 2025

What’s the Job?

• Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily pick‑up and delivery schedules
• Scan packages/mail as it is received, delivered, or returned to the depot at the end of the day
• Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers
• Conduct daily pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic-Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E‑DVIR)
• Advise the unit manager when inspections fail

What’s Needed?

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License for at least 3 years required

• Must successfully pass Defensive Driving and Courier Methods training
• Ability to problem‑solve and collaborate with Dispatch and customers
