Compensation

Starting pay: $24.95 – $26.05 per hour; eligible for bonuses and wage progression.

Experience: • Starting at $24.95–25.05 per hour + $1.79–2.38 Bonus; Experienced Candidates: $26.05 per hour + $2.38 Bonus

Experience requirement: You must have at least 3 years of experience in delivering appliances or similar goods, as well as experience in customer service.

As a Delivery Driver, you will

• Safely lift, carry and deliver heavy items into customers’ homes. This is heavy work, but you essentially get paid to work out.
• Greet and describe the delivery process to each customer in a way that makes them feel at ease and excited about their new appliance. Provide excellent customer experience with a friendly smile.
• Utilize tools to safely install our range of products and tackle challenges with creativity and confidence.
• Collaborate with a trained delivery partner.
• Safely operate our 5-ton trucks (Class 5 license) and navigate city streets. Trucks are fully automatic and mostly under 5 years old.
• Utilize state-of-the-art dispatch software to complete the delivery process on company-provided devices.

Qualifications

• A strong commitment to personal safety and the safety of others.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• A valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean driving abstract.
• A minimum of 1 year experience operating 5-ton trucks or other large vehicles.
• The physical ability to lift over 100 lbs and move large, heavy items (e.g., refrigerators).
• A willingness to learn new skills and product handling techniques (training available for washer/dryer installation).
• Great people skills and the ability to wow customers.
• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

• On the road, at customers’ homes, and in the warehouse.
• Scheduled 5 days a week from Tuesday to Saturday, 7:30 am start to 4:00 pm (occasional overtime).
• Dynamic and fast-paced.
