Job description

We are currently seeking team members for a full time Day Supervisors based out of our Blackfalds (Red Deer) location.
These positions are field based, involving approximately 20 days a month travelling to work sites throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Northern British Columbia to perform gas well testing duties.

About You
  • Day Field Supervisors must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience Well Testing
  • Reside in the Red Deer area (within 30 minutes of our shop)
  • Required certifications: Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, CSO training from Energy Safety Canada
  • Supervisors will require a truck and full set of tools
  • Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screens are required for all Safety Sensitive Positions
MAJOR ROLES & RESPONSIBLITIES
  • Supervision of site and personnel
  • Liase with other service companies on location if necessary
  • Supervision and completion of the rig in and out of the equipment associated with the job
  • Maintenance and servicing all well testing equipment
  • Communicate effectively with client, on site personal, night operators on cross‑shift and operations managers
  • Oversee accurate readings of gauges and monitors and submission of all data and samples during shift
  • Creation of Daily Operations Tickets, including following customer price lists for billing and ensuring crew charges are all recorded accurately for both day & night shifts on location.
  • Completion of necessary shift paperwork.
  • Responsible for training of positions under your supervision
  • Working knowledge of rules and regulations provided by governing regulatory bodies and the willingness to ask questions if things are unclear
  • Adherence to Colter safety guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Able to work away from home and necessary hours that can exceed 12 per shift
  • Able and willing to follow direction for assigned duties from Field Superintendent and Operations Management
Day rates start at $ 500, plus subsistence, truck allowance & mileage/towing
