Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Data Engineer to join our growing team at Ace1 Media. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining efficient data pipelines, developing ETL processes, and supporting the integration of complex datasets to ensure seamless data workflows for our various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data engineering concepts, be comfortable working with Python and SQL, and possess a deep understanding of relational databases. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support data integration, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• Implement and manage data workflows using Apache Airflow to orchestrate complex data processes.
• Develop efficient and reusable code in Python and SQL for data processing and automation.
• Work with relational databases to ensure proper data storage, access, and retrieval (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across different systems.
• Manage version control processes using Git to maintain codebase consistency and collaboration.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data processes to ensure performance and reliability of data pipelines.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in the data engineering space to continuously improve our data practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Familiarity with ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load) and data modeling concepts.
• Basic experience with programming languages such as Python and SQL.
• Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
