Overview

We are seeking a Data Architect to help our clients bring clarity and order to complex, unstructured datasets. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage comprehensive data strategies and solutions that scale effectively and address intricate business needs. You will apply deep expertise with Snowflake to build performant, cost-effective, cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver full-cycle data solutions, covering planning, strategy, and deployment.
  • Define enterprise data roadmaps, governance practices, and architectural blueprints for clients.
  • Lead large-scale data migration and integration efforts, leveraging Snowflake features such as Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks.
  • Partner with analytics and data science teams to enable AI / ML and advanced analytics use cases, with technologies including Snowpark and Python.
  • Build and fine-tune cloud-based data platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor, running workshops and sharing expertise in best practices for modern data platforms.
  • Continuously optimize workloads for higher performance and lower cost.
Skills and Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or data architecture, with strong practical knowledge of Snowflake (schema design, tuning, virtual warehouse management, cost optimization, secure data sharing, and large-scale deployments).
  • Track record of diagnosing performance bottlenecks, implementing clustering strategies, and applying workload scaling techniques.
  • Solid understanding of major cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Proficiency with SQL and Python.
  • Proven ability in data modeling, integration pipelines, and governance mechanisms.
  • Experience working with business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or MicroStrategy.
  • Strong consultative and communication skills, including the ability to simplify and present technical concepts to mixed audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry certifications in Snowflake (e.g., SnowPro) and / or cloud architecture certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Enthusiasm for mentoring team members and guiding clients toward impactful, data-driven choices.
  • Awareness of cutting-edge developments in data ecosystems, such as event-driven design, data mesh, and real-time analytics solutions.
