Job description
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret project, financial, and operational data from construction systems (ERP, project management, equipment, and safety).
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor project performance, costs, schedules, productivity, and safety metrics.
  • Track key construction KPIs and provide actionable insights to support project planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
  • Extract, transform, and validate data obtained from various sources to build clean and consistent datasets for analysis.
  • Develop and maintain standardized data models and metrics that promote a single source of truth across teams.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across projects and reporting tools.
  • Automate reporting processes and support BI system implementation and optimization.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Finance, and Operations to meet data and reporting needs.
  • Monitor data quality and proactively identify inconsistencies or gaps in data integrity, working with technical teams to resolve issues.
  • Automate recurring data requests and streamline manual reporting processes.
  • Present insights clearly to management and assist teams in using dashboards effectively.
  • Stay updated on BI tools and construction analytics best practices to improve reporting and analysis.
Qualifications/Experience/Competencies
  • Completion of a bachelor’s degree in computer science/data science/information systems or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role within a data-driven environment.
  • Experience with machine learning and analytics
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI
  • Experience with Google Sheets, including Google Apps Script for automation and integrations.
  • Familiarity with ETL concepts and data transformation tools
  • Comfortable working with APIs and cloud-based data platforms
  • Good understanding of data modeling, data governance, and best practices for maintaining data quality and consistency
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to simplify complex data findings for non-technical audiences
  • Proactive, curious, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
  • Organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

Salary Range: $65,000 – $85,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
