Overview

Responsibilities

• Will support data governance, data quality, and reporting initiatives within financial services and payments platforms.
• Will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide insights, improve data quality, and support enterprise data initiatives.
• Apply strong data analysis and governance practices to ensure integrity, lineage and quality across enterprise data.
• Perform data profiling, validation, and impact assessments to maintain accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Design and implement SQL queries for reporting, analysis, and data validation.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define data requirements and standards.
• Support documentation of data dictionaries, metadata, and lineage tracking.
• Provide insights to improve decision-making through data-driven analysis.
• Work with development and project management teams using Agile tools (Jira, Bitbucket).
• Contribute to process improvement and automation of data quality checks.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in a Data Analyst, Data Governance, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, lineage, and profiling methodologies.
• Understanding of metadata management and master data principles.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Advanced SQL tuning and optimization.
• Experience with Agile delivery practices.
• Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in Data quality checks, impact assessments.
• Strong Jira and Bitbucket, Confluence, metadata management.
• Experience with process mapping, lineage documentation.

Desired Skills
